September is my birthday month. It wasn’t a milestone birthday but it was followed by major surgery. I think this was my reminder that I am not getting any younger. My family rallied and took awesome care of me. My husband kept the clinic running, my sister made wonderful food for us, and my parents fussed over me. I followed my doctors orders by staying in my pajamas all day. While I was home convalescing, I pretended I was a full time writer. Book 2 is almost done and just in time for NANOWRIMO. I am hoping to release in February.
We celebrated late is the reason I am posting in October. One of my favorite birthday presents was a Yeti Tumbler. It really does keep the ice from melting all day long!
As for my birthday feast, every year I splurge and eat a chicken fried steak. I AM from Texas, Y’all. This is my favorite southern dish and this year it had a Tejano flair from Oscar Delta. Sooo Yummy!
So I have been super busy writing Book 2 and not blogging, but I am going to try and get back on the blog train. I am editing and recuperating and if all goes well I should be back treating patients and writing by November.
Have a Great Day!
