For those of you that have just started to follow me, it’s time for NANOWRIMO (as it’s known to millions of writers) or National Novel Writing Month. This is a fun time for writers to see if they have enough gumption to write a novel in a month. Starting November 1st participants are challenged with a goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30th.
I normally use NANOWRIMO as my get your ass in the chair and write the first draft of the next book in my Jennifer Cloud series. This year I am challenging myself to write a novella. Yep, that’s correct a complete story ready to go to edit by the time I finish on Nov. 30th. I will keep you posted on how well I am doing and how many Hostess products it took me to get there.
