Good-bye Jamie and Claire until next season. This book was the inspiration for my Scottish character, Caiyan. I read book 1 about 10 years ago and knew when I wrote my first book, my hero was going to be Scottish. I was so excited when I heard they were making the books into a Starz series. I was beyond happy when they followed closely to book 1 and cast the best (and I mean the best) actors to play the roles. They really brought the characters to life and I am forever grateful. You know how disappointed it can be when a favorite book is not cast well? Such a let down. So hat’s off to the people who make the Outlander series so incredibly awesome.
